GIST
(Girls Inspiring Social Transformation)

TKI’s flagship program, which aims to create hyper-customized action plans concerning all determinants of their health, to improve access to, awareness of, and utilisation of health resources by socio-economically underprivileged Indian Muslim girls, with a particular focus on Muslim-owned Child Care Institutions.

GIST’s impact will be made scalable by equipping the next generation of women with systems, skills and resources to create trans-generational positive healthcare outcomes in their respective communities.

Community INtervention > GIST

TKI’s Community Champions Program

The Community Champions program empowers young Muslim girls to become changemakers within their communities, encouraging effective access to and utilization of health resources. The selected individuals will be incentivised with access to leading accelerator programs, internships, and more, based on their contributions.

They will also contribute to influencing socio-cultural trends, perception of women’s health, and accelerating their socio-economic progress, by making marginalised women happier and healthier.

Caregiver developemnt Program

We recognise that positive health outcomes also necessitate positive caregiver support systems as well. With well informed, trained teachers, parents and leaders, program impact will be strengthened,  multiplied and sustained.

What makes GIST different?

Hyper-Customisation of Action Plans based on primary research on all determinants of health, with a sample size of 60-65% of the targeted population.

Creation of an Ecosystem of Providers across industries like Legal, Healthcare, Research, etc who can be plugged in, based on the specific action plan.

TKI’s Community Champions and Caregiver Development Programs will equip the community with competencies to be catalysts of change in their own circles that will create sustainable, multi-generational impact.
